#TRAVELINGTINK ROAD TRIPS - BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS

For my next #TravelingTink Road Trip I insisted on my favorite New England City, Boston, Massachusetts! I have made sure to visit Boston at least once a year since it is a short drive from NYC, and this time was extra special! I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to stay at the Whitney Hotel Boston and it was a true delight!

A fairly new property, (having opened its doors in June 2019) The Whitney Hotel Boston is tucked away in the historic Beacon Hill area of Boston, Massachusetts. The site of the hotel was owned at one time by a famous Boston industrialist named Henry Melville Whitney, hence where the hotel gets its name. The sophisticated hotel welcomes guests and their fur-friends to enjoy the generous hospitality and modern comforts it has to offer.

The property alone is absolutely stunning. It is clean and crisp with a historical feel to it. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out the Whitney Hotel staff made me feel right at home. The Whitney prides itself on being the “ultimate pet friendly hotel in Boston” with its Whitney Wags program for dogs and cats. For a fee of $125 per stay, four legged friends can enjoy a plush Lion + Wolf bed, a drip modual pet feeder by EJ Tanu , and complimentary treats from Boston’s own PolkaDog Bakery. The location is perfect for a sunset stroll along the Charles River, a day of shopping or a scenic walk around Boston Common. Other amazing perks for my 5lb fabulous self were the Whitney complimentary bikes with a front basket I fit into and the outdoor terrace where I could relax and sip on water while my human sipped on a cocktail.

My human was also equally thrilled with our room and it’s amenities. It was comfortable and chic with contemporary features. The large floor to ceiling windows gave a gorgeous townhouse view and feel. The beds featuring WRIGHT mattresses felt like you were sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was superior and stocked with organic bath amenities from the Australian line Grown Alchemist.

One of the stand out features at The Whitney for my human was the cleanliness program deemed “Rest Assured”. Newly implemented due to COVID19, Rest Assured, according to the Whitney Hotel’s website is “a 5-point program designed to ensure guests and staff may be put at ease while on property.”. With Rest Assured kits (in case you forgot your mask or personal hand sanitizer) in every room, advanced cleaning protocols put in place, hand sanitizer at every corner of the hotel, and face masks required indoors at all times, my human felt a true sense of safety while staying on the property.

My #travelingtink road trip to Boston, Mass to stay the The Whitney Hotel was definitely one of the most enjoyable and memorable visits to my favorite New England city! I had a fabulous time strutting my stuff around Boston and enjoying all the amenities The Whitney Hotel had to offer. I already want to go back.
